Welcome to Clear and Bright the aviation
fuel quality and safety site. Modern aircraft are equipped with a
backup system for almost all systems except for the fuel. The fuel
which we pump into the tanks of the aircraft must be on-spec and be in a
Clear and Bright condition. Clear is
the term to indicate the fuel is free of particulate and Bright indicates
the fuel is free of water. The goal of this site is to provide
information in a concise form to the aviation fueling community which
may be used to further educate others. Aircraft have always
required Clear and Bright fuel and the need today is even
greater with the advent and use of ETOPS certified aircraft. There
are several links in this site which will require the use of the Adobe
Acrobat Reader. If you need the free Adobe Reader please download it now.
I hope you find this site useful. |
